Customs Regulations for Greece

Entry Requirements:

For tourist stays of up to three months a valid, unexpired passport is required for entry from other EU countries but no visa.

Customs Entry - EU Residents with Duty Paid Goods:

There are no legal limits on importing duty-paid tobacco and alcoholic products between EU member countries.  However, customs officials may question travelers if they exceed the amounts stated below and may ask them to prove the goods are for their own personal use.

Tobacco:
3200 cigarettes
400 cigarillos
200 cigars
3kg of tobacco

Alcohol:
90 litres of wine (not more than 60 litres of sparkling wine)
10 litres of spirits
20 litres of fortified wines (i.e. sherry, port. etc.)
110 litres of beer

Banned Items:

Certain prescription drugs are banned in Greece such as Codeine so all drugs required during your stay should be clearly marked and be accompanied by a copy of the prescription.

The import of plants with soil is banned.
