Tavernas in Patitiri

If you have limited time on Alonissos then our observations may be useful in planning your eating. However the best option is to try eating at all the tavernas and forming your own opinions. The list in not exhaustive because we have not eaten at every taverna in Patitiri yet, but we are working on it.

Akti	Some English spoken. Closed out of season. Behind the Town beach in Patitiri. Choose anything from the menu. Lovely view over sea and harbour of Patitiri.
Alonissos Cafe	Excellent English spoken. Closed out of season. Along the end of the harbour next to Taverna Tzitzifia. Good selection of pasta dishes, pizza's and grilled meats. Good people watching spot and great veiw of the incoming catamarans.
Anais	Excellent English spoken. Closed out of season. Next to Taverna Archipeligo at edge of Town beach in Patitiri. Choose anything from the menu. Service very attentive but not intrusive. Lovely view over harbour and beach in Patitiri.
Archipelogo	English spoken. Open most of the year. End of the harbour front on corner of Pelasgon. Choose anything from the menu. Fresh fish available in chiller cabinet.
Astakos	English spoken. Closed out of season. Last taverna up Pelasgon on left hand side passed Taverna Lefteris. Fish taverna which has some grilled meats also on the menu. The raised terrace is secluded and creates a quite intimate atmosphere.
Avrogiali (Known as Pasquali's)	Good English spoken. Closed out of season. Behind the Town beach in Patitiri. Choose from specials on display or anything from menu. Lovely view over sea and harbour of Patitiri.
Babis	Excellent English spoken. Closed out of season. On left hand side passed Atrium Hotel on main road heading to Old Town. Very limited menu of well cooked, good traditional Greek food. Elevated veranda with lovely view across Patitiri and Roussoum.
Edem (Eden)	Excellent English spoken. Closed out of season. End of the port in a quiet location above the ferry jetty. Limited menu with some traditional dishes. Set in a flower laden terrace with lovely views over the sea.
Flisvos	English spoken. Closed out of season. Bottom of Pelasgon with seats in front of hydrofoil jetty and taverna opposite. Extensive menu with some traditional dishes. Right on the harbour front in the middle of everything that's happening.
Lefteris	English spoken. Closed out of season. Towards top of Pelasgon on right hand side. Choose anything from menu. Relatively isolated location is perfect for a quiet meal away from the crowds.
Levendis	Limited English spoken. Closed during summer. Towards top of Ikion Dolopon on left under Police Station. Choose from specials on display inside taverna or anything from grill. Your choice of whether to eat inside or out.
Mamma Mia	English spoken. Open most of year. Almost opposite the bank where Taverna Kapetan Spiros used to be. Good selection of pasta dishes and pizza's with daily specials. Nice cosy atmosphere to enjoy a glass of Prosecco.
Pleiades Apartments	Excellent English spoken. Closed out of season. Above the harbour and up the steps around the corner from Albedo Travel. Small menu of dishes with an international flavour. Kitchen opens at 8pm. Fabulous view of the harbour from the terrace.
To Kamaki	English spoken. Closed out of season. A few doors passed National Bank of Greece. Wide menu with traditional Greek variations. Comes with recommendations from many tourist guides.
Tzitzifia	English spoken. Closed out of season. Last taverna on the end of the harbour front. If you have a low expectation of food then this is the place for you. On the harbour front in the middle of where everything's happening.
